コノスルの20バレル・リミテッド・エディション・メルローが、「インターナショナル・ワイン・チャレンジ2015」、イギリスのデキャンター誌の「ワールド・ワイン・アウォーズ2015」で金賞を受賞しました！！

「インターナショナル・ワイン・チャレンジ2015」　金賞コメント

深みがあり、濃いルビー・レッド。エレガントで表現力豊か、生き生きとしたワイン。ブラックベリー、カシス、リコリス、スパイス、柔らかなトースト香やキャラメルなどを思わせる、溢れんばかりの美味なアロマがある。複雑でボリュームがあり、まさにメルローらしい特徴を備えている。ベルベットのような口当たり、丸みのあるタンニン、しっかりとしたストラクチャーは、長い余韻と共に最高の時を迎える。

A deep, dark ruby red in color, this is an elegant, expressive and vigorous wine, bursting with delicious aromas of blueberries, cassis, licorice, spice and touches of soft toast and caramel. Complex and full in mouth, this is a Merlot with character. Its velvety, round tannins and well-defined structure culminate with a gratifying long finish.

デキャンター誌「ワールド・ワイン・アウォーズ2015」　金賞コメント

ワイン業界において最大かつ最も影響力のあるコンペティションのひとつとして知られ、今年12周年を迎えたデキャンターのワールド・ワイン・アウォーズは、世界中から16,000を超えるエントリーを受けた。精力的な評価プロセスの後、審査員（22か国から選ばれた240人のワインの専門家）はコノスルの20バレル・リミテット・エディション・メルローに金賞を与えた。

コノスルのＣＥＯでチーフワインメーカーであるアドルフォ・フルタード氏は、「この栄誉はインターナショナル・ワイン・チャレンジ2015で金賞を受賞した直後にやってきた。20バレルメルローのパフォーマンスに非常に喜んでいる。このワインはコルチャグア・ヴァレー産で、パワフルだがエレガントなワインで、美しい凝縮感がある。」と語った。

Recognized as one of the largest and most influential wine competitions in the industry, this year´s 12th annual Decanter World Wine Awards received more than 16,000 entries from around the world. After a vigorous evaluation process, the judging panel, consisting of 240 wine experts from 22 countries, awarded a Gold Medal to Cono Sur 20 Barrels Merlot 2012.

Adolfo Hurtado, Executive Director and Chief Winemaker at Cono Sur, says, “This honor comes just shortly after receiving a Gold Medal in the International Wine Challenge 2015, and we are extremely pleased with our 20 Barrels Merlot´s performance. This wine comes from the Colchagua Valley and is a powerful yet elegant wine with beautiful concentration.”
